Mt Friendship Peak Climb – Pir Pranjal Range, Himalaya (Video)

Pinnacle comes only after the hardest climb.

Sharing a video of my Sepetember 2019 Mt Friendship Peak climb (Pir Pranjal Range, 17300 ft.). Do read the captions to follow the story.

Friendship Peak, a stiff climb from the Beas Kund area in Himachal Pradesh involves technical climb and only meant for the experienced folks. The snow-clad near-vertical glacier walls with the hard and slippery snow along with moraine filled ridges towards the summit make it a test for agility, endurance and the ability to use technical gears. It’s an IMA (Indian Mountaineering Association) recognized trackable mountain peak in India, and it was my 2nd expedition after I attempted Stock Kangri at 20000 ft in 2017.
